Flood protection prevents a campaign from being sent again to the contact.
Open the campaign Viewer and click the 'Other' setting.
The Window is the number of days for the flood protection should last for. In the example below the Window is 90 days.
The Count is the number messages to send in the window. In the example below the Count is one meaning only one message will be sent to a contact in a 90 day Window.
Clicking outside the Window or Count will automatically save the Flood protection for that campaign.
The default flood protection for all campaigns is a Window of 1 and Count of 3.
Use Case Scenario
If the contact calls in and triggers a survey to be sent the flood protection ensures that the contact, should they call in again, won't receive another survey for 90 days.
